Marvel

Marvel Studios is currently in the middle of Phase 4 of their Cinematic Universe, and with Avengers: Endgame coming out soon, fans are wondering what’s next.

What’s next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

1 – Ms. Marvel (Disney Plus)

The comic book fan favorite gets her own Disney Plus series (which released on June 8, 2022 and runs through July 13, 2022). While the recent Moon Knight series may or may not have much impact on the ongoing MCU storyline, we already know that Ms. Marvel will appear in the next Captain Marvel movie (The Marvels), so this one carries a bit more weight in the overall storyline.

Viewers will meet a young Kamala Kahn, a teenager who develops super powers and looks to emulate her hero – Captain Marvel.

2 – Thor: Love and Thunder

Marvel Studios has finally released the official title of the fourth Thor movie, Thor: Love and Thunder. The film will be released on July 8, 2022. The new film will star Natalie Portman as Jane Foster.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Waititi said that Foster would become the new Thor after she is deemed worthy by picking up Mjolnir.

“She’s already been given the power of Thor, but then she’s told she can’t have it,” he said. “So it’s like someone who’s been given a great gift and then had it taken away from them. She’s coping with that and trying to find her way.

3 – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

After the events of Avengers: Endgame, fans are anxious to see what comes next for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the most anticipated sequels is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will begin filming on May 5, 2023.
