Nicole, 59, strips down for daring shoot

She's 59, she's an Oscar winner, and she's just posed for a magazine cover in little more than a bra.

The shoot is for a glossy fashion title back in her home country, and fans can't stop talking about it.

In the boldest shot, she wears a tiny black bra stamped with a gold double-C logo, sparkling jeans slung low on her hips and a statement gold necklace. Her abs do the rest.

Yes, it's Nicole Kidman.

The actress is the cover star of Vogue Australia's November issue, out Nov. 2. It's her 12th cover for the magazine, and her first in almost three years.

A homecoming in Chanel

The magazine calls the issue a homecoming. Kidman was photographed by fellow Australian Lachlan Bailey and styled by Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Christine Centenera.

She wears Chanel throughout, including pieces from Matthieu Blazy's Resort 2027 collection. Kidman has been a face of the French fashion house for years.

The bra isn't the only daring look. There's a sparkling Chanel bikini, a plunging swimsuit worn sitting in a shallow pool with her hair slicked back, a strapless black dress, and an oversized sweater with very little underneath.

In the interview that goes with the shoot, she talks about once being told she was too tall.

She shared the shots on her own Instagram with a one-word caption, "Homecoming", an Australian flag and a blue heart.

Fans flooded the comments. "Oh my god these are sensational Nicole!" one wrote. Another asked: "How is she prettier than ever?"

It caps a busy month for Kidman and Chanel. Earlier in October she was in Paris for the label's Spring/Summer 2027 show, with her daughter Faith, 15, by her side.

The November issue of Vogue Australia hits newsstands on Nov. 2.
