Ten years pass between the disappearance of teenager Britt Baker (acted in flashback by Sarah May Sommers) and the setting of American Siege. Brigit's brother-in-law Roy (played by Rob Gough) has been imprisoned for more than a decade. Now free, he's eager to find the truth, so he arms himself; and storms the home of a well-known local pharmacist, accompanied by Brigit's sister Grace and her cousin Toby.

Synopsis

A retired police officer turned sheriff of a small rural Georgia town has to cope with a gang of armed robbers who overpowered and kidnapped a wealthy physician.

American Seige Critique

After getting out of the penitentiary, Roy (played by Rob Gough) is greeted by Grace (Anna Hindman). They then choose Toby (played by Johann Urb), Grace s brother. Tells an extended medley of lines follows.

It becomes painfully apparent that dialogues will not keep us involved in The American Siege.

American Siege Movie Review

The main plot of this movie comes down to…drumrolls.

It's for revenge.

Worth Watching

It turns into a somewhat dull execution of a pattern executed a thousand times. It is dull and straightforward, which makes it unwatchable by and large.

This is a hard pass. This movie is not at all one of Bruce Willis's finest.
