Fans of popular US sitcom "Friends" have been treated to a long-awaited conclusion of Matt LeBlanc's spinoff series "Joey". The show, which originally aired in 2004, stopped broadcasting in the US partway through its second season in 2006, leaving eight episodes unaired. These final installments can now be viewed on YouTube.

The series starred Matt LeBlanc reprising his role as the loveable rogue Joey Tribbiani, and followed Joey's journey to Hollywood to boost his acting career. While in LA, the character reconnects with his energetic sister Gina, portrayed by Drea de Matteo, and his brilliant nephew Michael, played by Paulo Costanzo. Jennifer Coolidge and Andrea Anders were also among the cast.

"Joey's" first episode proved extremely popular when it first aired, pulling in an audience of 18.6 million. However, the show was unable to maintain its momentum and viewership gradually declined over the course of two seasons.

Following the show's cancellation, "Friends" executive producer Kevin S. Bright shared his views on why it failed to pick up a dedicated audience. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the development of Joey's character, stating the character lost the charm and reliability that endeared him to the viewers of "Friends".
