Abramorama has bagged the North American theatrical rights for the coming-of-age a cappella documentary, "Just Sing". The film, likened to a real-life version of “Pitch Perfect”, tracks the journey of the SoCal VoCals, a highly reputed college a cappella team, as they aim for an unprecedented sixth ICCA title in a single season.

The movie will premiere in New York City at the QUAD Cinema and in Los Angeles at the Laemmle NoHo 7 on April 24, qualifying it for Academy consideration. A platform release corresponding to the North American theatrical launch will follow. To maximize the impact of the film's NYC and L.A. openings, Abramorama is teaming up with Varsity Vocals and Theorem Media to initiate a one-day nationwide “Just Sing People’s Premiere” event on April 23. This event will facilitate 40 on-demand screenings inviting participation from college a cappella teams all over the country.

The film, directed by Angelique Molina and Abraham Troen, has been widely loved by audiences at multiple festivals and had its premiere at the Tribeca Festival before being showcased at several events across North America. In a strategic move, Abramorama plans to coordinate the film's opening to align with the International Championship of Collegiate A Capella Finals, scheduled to take place at Town Hall in New York City on April 25. Ventureland, Mercury Studios, and WIIP produced the film.

Abramorama’s executives also expressed their elation in bringing such a human-centric, joyous, and emotionally resonant film to the big screen. They praised the work of Molina and Troen in beautifully capturing the stirring journey of the SoCal VoCals.

The directors of the film, Troen and Molina, emphasized how a cappella music is all about listening to each other, a theme that resonates deeply with the film's narrative. They thanked Abramorama and their partners for facilitating the sharing of this film with a wider audience.
