A surprise twist at Beyond Fest in Los Angeles this Tuesday saw fans attending an unexpected world premiere of M. Night Shyamalan's latest thriller, "Remain." Initial reactions on various social platforms laud Jake Gyllenhaal's performance as "extraordinary" and the film as something never before seen from the acclaimed director.
"Remain," a supernatural romance co-scripted by Nicholas Sparks, stars Gyllenhaal as Tate Gordon, a New York architect journeying to Cape Cod aiming for a new beginning after battling severe depression. When he encounters Wren, played by Phoebe Dynevor, his carefully constructed world is disrupted.

Advance viewers at Beyond Fest have showered the movie with praises.
