"Resident Alien" Series to Conclude on USA Network

The science fiction series "Resident Alien" will be coming to an end after being cancelled by USA Network, as confirmed by Variety. Even though its termination is confirmed, the remaining three episodes of the fourth season will still be broadcast on their pre-determined dates in the upcoming weeks.
The show, which first appeared on Syfy in 2021, was relocated to USA Network and premiered its fourth season in June on this new platform.
Chris Sheridan, the creator and showrunner, admitted in an interview with TV Insider that he realized that it might be the series’ last season. He expressed excitement about how this knowledge gave them the creative freedom to wrap up storylines and journey towards a fitting conclusion.
The show creator shared that the finale of the fourth season, which he considers his favorite episode, is a strong finish to the series.
"Resident Alien", starring Alan Tudyk as an alien on a mission to exterminate humanity who eventually takes a liking to earthlings, is broadcast on Fridays on USA Network while new episodes are available to stream on Peacock a week later. The series finale is scheduled for August 8.
