The Bad Guys is an animated movie that features both humans and anthropized animals and takes place in Los Angeles. It features a gang of thieves who are finally caught and decided to pretend they are reformed into upright citizens.

Their leader, Mr. Wolf, however, performs an act of kindness and drawn by the way it makes him feels, decides to genuinely change and he sets out to help his friends do the same. Along the way, the gang is attempts and fails many 'good' heists that are supposed to help groups of animals.

They end up being re-arrested and thrown in jail from which they are rescued by the mysterious criminal Crimson Paw. Thanks to this mysterious ally, they are able to prove their innocence and continue their quest to become upstanding citizens. One year later, and the gang is well on their way to making a name for themselves fighting crime.
