The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)

The children's/family fantasy movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe are based on C. S. Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia novel series. In contrast to the other movies in the series, this one is a fan favorite. Four British kids are relocated to the countryside in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. There they enter a mythical world and team up with a magical Lion to fight a wicked White Witch's armies.

Harry Potter Franchise (2001 - 2011)

The Harry Potter movie series does witchcraft and wizardry better than any other fantasy film series. Harry Potter is a worldwide phenomenon and a fan favorite. It centers on a young boy named Harry who discovers he is a wizard. He is the only one who can defeat the evil Lord Voldemort. Harry is then taken away to a magical boarding school where he faces dark villains and potions class.

‘Enchanted’ (2007)

One of Disney's best live-action movies from the 2000s is Enchanted. The movie stars Amy Adams as Giselle. It centers on a future princess who finds herself in contemporary New York through an Evil Queen in an effort to foil her ambitions. She meets a man who decides to help her as she struggles to get around in such an unfamiliar (and downright terrifying) location. And perhaps they have a happy ending! Every Disney fan should be familiar with the songs in this hilarious film. In some of the scenes, while Giselle is in her world, the movie also pays homage to the timeless cartoon universes of Disney's golden age.

‘Coco’ (2017)

Miguel, a young kid, and aspiring guitarist is unintentionally sent to the Land of the Dead in the Disney film Coco. He wants to know how to end his family's prohibition of music. He also asks his great-great-grandfather for advice on how to get back home.

Coco is a truly adorable movie, especially for young audiences. It is hardly surprising that the movie has gained so much popularity given its magnificent soundtrack, breathtaking graphics, and heartwarming plot.

‘The Lord of the Rings’ Trilogy (2001 - 2003)

One of the most well-known fantasy series, The Lord of the Rings is a standard for what fantasy literature is capable of. The series tells the story of a band of heroes who join forces to defend the world from impending evil. The Ring is an all-powerful object that determines the course of existence. It is inherited by a young Hobbit named Frodo. Frodo must burn it in the Mount Doom fires to prevent enemy hands from seizing it first.

‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ (2022)

A brand-new absurdist comedy-drama movie with lots of surreal elements is Everything Everywhere All at Once. The story centers on a Chinese American immigrant who learns how to communicate with alternate realities and diverse personalities-the multiverse. In order to stop the multiverse and everything in it from ruins, she becomes involved in a multi-universal struggle.
