Jagged Edge Productions debut the first trailer for the strange and abnormal horror film, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.

The movie will follow deranged versions of Winnie the Pooh and Piglet seeking retribution against Christopher Robin and his friends for leaving them behind. The movie is possible by the beloved titular character joining the public domain earlier this year.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is written and directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield. It stars Craig David Dowsett and Chris Cordell as the villainous Pooh Bear and Piglet. Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, and Danielle Scott round out the rest of the cast.

The film has no release date as of currently.

The trailer begins with an elderly Christopher Robin and his girlfriend. They enter the Hundred Acre Woods, where the young guy used to play with his friends Pooh and Piglet.

Christopher soon discovers that Pooh and Piglet became feral after being left behind. As the trailer continues, a group of Christopher's friends arrive at his house expecting a party. Instead, they witness a massacre carried out by disdainful mutant animals.

According to the trailer, the movie will have a particular hard-core slasher vibe, popular in the 2000s.

While Piglet and Winnie the Pooh enter the public domain, Tigger and other figures from the original Winnie the Pooh stories remain under copyright.

Although Pooh Bear and Piglet are the only well-known Disney characters to appear in this movie, towards the opening of the video, viewers may see a piece of cardboard masquerading as a tombstone with the words "Eeyore R.I.P."
