The most anticipated game in years is three weeks away. Here's the final trailer

It has been one of the longest waits in gaming.

Now it's three weeks away, and Rockstar has just dropped the last trailer before release.

The Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer landed on Oct. 15, just over a month before the game finally comes out on Nov. 19.

Rockstar says every second of it was captured in-game on a PlayStation 5.

Bank heists, police chases, snakes, and people eating buckets of fried chicken, Insider Gaming counted.

At the centre are the game's two leads, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. In Rockstar's words, their easy score goes wrong and drags them into a criminal conspiracy across the state of Leonida, home to Vice City.

The music is new too: "Flower in a Hurricane" by Justice, the French duo behind the game's score, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. It's on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack, which fans can already pre-save on streaming services. Vinyl and CD pre-orders are open too.

It isn't officially called Trailer 3, Insider Gaming noted, but fans are treating it as one. And it gives the best look yet at how the game actually plays, rather than a cut-together cinematic.

The long road to Nov. 19

The wait has been brutal. Rockstar showed the first GTA VI trailer on Dec. 4, 2023. It passed 60 million YouTube views in its first 12 hours, PC Gamer reported.

The second trailer followed on May 6, 2025, then a video Rockstar called An Extended Look. This launch trailer is the fourth.

The game was meant to arrive on May 26, 2026, but Rockstar pushed it back six months and apologised to fans.

Pre-orders opened on June 25, across digital stores and selected retailers.

So, can you play it on PC? Not at launch. GTA VI is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only, and Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version.

If you're on a console, though, it's time to clear your diary for Nov. 19. Jason, Lucia and Vice City have been a long time coming.
