Four weddings, no marriage: twist in Netflix star's split
- Oct 30, 2026
A reality TV favourite has broken down in tears on camera, confirming the end of one of Hollywood's most talked-about romances.
And the 45-year-old didn't sugar-coat a thing, even admitting she feels like she failed.
Chrishell Stause, best known from Netflix's Selling Sunset, has split from Aussie musician G Flip after more than four years together.
She broke the news in a raw Instagram video on Monday, US time.
But now there's a twist no one saw coming.
Despite four wedding ceremonies, the couple were never actually legally married.
Looking straight down the camera, she told her followers she had a humbling update: she and G are no longer together.
Stause said fans deserved to hear it from her face, not in a cold written statement, after the love they'd shown the couple.
Then came the gut-punch.
I feel like a little bit of a failure

The reality star described herself as a hopeless romantic who goes all in, and said that's exactly why this one hurts so much.
But she was clear there's no bad blood.
She said she will always love G, doesn't see that ever changing, and just wants them both to be happy.
G Flip breaks their silence
G Flip, real name Georgia Flipo, posted a statement soon after.
The drummer and singer said their head and heart were too heavy to talk about it yet, and begged fans for privacy.
The ex who reached out
Among the flood of support, one comment stood out.
It came from Stause's ex, The Oppenheim Group boss Jason Oppenheim, who dated her in 2021.
He told her he was sorry, that a breakup doesn't mean anyone failed, and that he'll always be there for her.
Four weddings, no marriage
The pair met in 2021 but didn't get together until the following year.
In May 2023 they shocked fans with a spontaneous Las Vegas wedding, just three months into dating, and promised to marry each other again every year.
They kept that promise. There was a second ceremony in Palm Springs for their Los Angeles friends, a third in Australia for G Flip's family, and a medieval-themed vow renewal in July 2025.
But according to TMZ, none of them was ever made legal.
Reports at the time of the Vegas wedding said it was not legally binding, and that the couple planned to make it official later. That never happened.
Stause brushed off questions about it on SiriusXM back then.
I'm not out here to try and prove people how serious or meaningful it was.

The upshot: with no legal marriage, there's no divorce to file.
Just five days before the announcement, Stause was all smiles at The Hollywood Reporter's Creators A-List party in West Hollywood.
Stause was previously married to This Is Us star Justin Hartley. They split in 2019, and their divorce was finalised in 2021.
