He's one half of one of Hollywood's most loved couples.
But this actor has made a cheeky confession about a famous blonde he couldn't resist, even though she had a husband at the time.
Dax Shepard, 51, has admitted he laid on the charm with Kate Hudson while she was still married to Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.
He told the story on this week's episode of his Armchair Expert podcast, with guests Erin and Sara Foster, the sisters behind Netflix's Nobody Wants This.
Poker night
It started at the home of Hudson's brother, Oliver.
“I f---ing adore Oliver,” Shepard said. “I was at his house one night playing poker, and she came and played, and she was still with Chris.”
And Shepard went all in.
I gave her 111 percent of any charm I have.

“I just had a crush on her,” he admitted. He was a fan of her work, too: “I loved Almost Famous.”
Co-host Monica Padman added that he has always been “obsessed” with Hudson.
He left that night pleased with his effort. “I mean, she's married, who cares?” he said. “But that was a great first showing.”
Second time lucky
Nothing happened that night.
But after Hudson and Robinson split in 2007, Shepard ran into her again at a dinner party in Malibu and tried his luck a second time.
This time it worked. “From that night on, we were just together every single day,” he said.
Their romance lasted about three months, and by his account they spent much of it “making out.”
And he made no secret of what drew him in: “I just thought she was so f---ing beautiful.”
Sara Foster, who was friends with both of them, remembered it well. “You guys got serious fast,” she said. “And you guys were like, always in beanies.”
Erin Foster added: “There wasn't like a feeling of, ‘Wow, she picked up trailer trash along the way.’”
Not long after the split, Shepard met actress Kristen Bell. The pair married in 2013 and share two daughters, Lincoln and Delta.
Bell has her own take on his charm. Earlier the same week she revealed on the podcast that he flirts with her by complimenting waiters on their eyelashes or cheekbones.
“That's flirting with me because he just made someone else feel good,” she said.
Hudson went on to welcome son Bingham with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, and daughter Rani with Danny Fujikawa, her fiancé since 2021. She also shares son Ryder with Robinson.
