Batman star's fiancée answers the question everyone keeps asking
- Nov 2, 2026
Suki Waterhouse, 34, has finally answered the question fans keep asking about her and Robert Pattinson, 40: did they secretly get married?
No, not yet. But when they do, she promises it won't be quiet.
Waterhouse set the record straight in an interview with The Sunday Times, published on Sunday, E! News reported. She and Pattinson are still engaged, not married, and the wedding is on hold until next year because of their busy schedules and the lack of one home base.
There'll be no small ceremony, either.
It would either be all or nothing. If we were going to go for it we'd have a massive party, blow it out.

How the rumours started
The couple have been together since 2018 and got engaged in 2023, but the talk of a secret wedding has run for almost two years.
In January 2025, Sharon Stone referred to Pattinson as Waterhouse's "husband" at an event, Just Jared reported, and the internet ran with it.
Pattinson didn't help. At the Los Angeles premiere of The Drama in March, Extra asked him about the biggest secret he had ever kept. He grinned at his co-star Zendaya and said: "It's the same one that you have." People reported it as a hint that he had married Waterhouse in secret, though he never said so.
"Almost a decade"
Waterhouse sounds in no rush. "It is almost a decade and that is a beautiful thing," she said of their relationship, according to Just Jared.
The pair welcomed a daughter in March 2024, and Waterhouse introduced her on Instagram with the caption "welcome to the world angel." Despite what she called an "abnormal life", she says parenting is going well: "I feel good about how we're doing it and we are both just so connected to her."
She has been busy on stage, too, performing in Nashville in mid-October.
So the secret wedding never happened, and the real one is still to come.
If Waterhouse gets her way, it won't be a secret from anyone.
