Renowned for his directing style, David F. Sandberg has been selected to direct "Mommy’s Home", an upcoming psychological horror flick from Lionsgate.

Written by the acclaimed James Morosini, "Mommy’s Home" weaves a chilling narrative around a young father whose peaceful family life turns into a terrifying ordeal when his cryogenically preserved mother is thawed and sent to live with him, as per the official synopsis. Known for his ability to create suspense, Sandberg rose to fame with his YouTube short turned movie, "Lights Out." He is also notable for his engaging direction of the superhero film "Shazam!" and its sequel scheduled for 2023, as well as for his adaptation of the immensely successful horror video game "Until Dawn" for Sony in 2025.
