Exciting "Daredevil: Born Again" Season 2 Teaser Revealed at NY Comic Con
- Oct 16, 2025
The sophomore season of "Daredevil: Born Again" created quite a buzz at the New York Comic Con where the first trailer was unveiled. Charlie Cox, reprising his role as Daredevil, shared the spotlight with the returning Krysten Ritter, who fascinated fans as Jessica Jones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The much-anticipated second season is due to hit Disney+ in March 2026.
The highlight of the selectively shown trailer, experienced solely by the in-room attendees, took fans by surprise. Ritter’s Jones, a character who once headlined her own Marvel series on Netflix and collaborated with Daredevil in “The Defenders,” has made a convincing comeback. Furthermore, Elden Henson, who left audiences shocked with his character Foggy Nelson’s demise in the “Born Again” inaugural series, also made a comeback in the trailer and is slated for the second season. The trailer also showcased Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, with scenes of intense boxing matches.
The inaugural season of “Daredevil: Born Again” hit Disney+ in early 2025 and revived many talented actors from Netflix’s darker version of the “Daredevil” series. Cox, having reprised his Daredevil role in “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” and “Echo", was the linchpin of “Born Again,” Marvel’s initial venture into M-rated shows.

Cox's Daredevil, aka blind lawyer Matt Murdock, had a showdown with D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk (Kingpin), the presently serving New York City mayor. Fans were left in shock when Foggy, portrayed by Henson, was murdered by Bullseye, a sinister assassin, in the series premiere. This incident led Cox's character into a depressive state, and he abandons his Daredevil identity.
“Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 will not only see a comeback of Ritter as Jones but also introduce horror enthusiast Matthew Lillard to the series. Furthermore, a third season has already been announced ahead of the second season premiere. The series boasts a great ensemble cast, including Jon Bernthal of Netflix’s “Daredevil”. Bernthal, who also featured in a stand-alone Punisher series, made his first appearance in the MCU via “Born Again”. He's set to headline an MCU special focused on Punisher, in addition to being part of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”.
