Episode 7 of Firefly Lane starts with Kate's "computer dating" video. She's helping Tully with a story, but she's concerned since she thinks people prefer in-person meetings. Tully says she'll have more fun soon. Kate remains Johnny-obsessed.

Tully gives Kate dating advice over drinks. She wants Johnny to leave because of Kate. She later learns from a coworker that Johnny misses Kate. Tully loves and can't stop thinking about Danny.

Kate knows how Tully feels and Tully confesses that Danny is “it”.

Kate finds Theo on "internet dating." She's impressed by his honesty and they exchange numbers.

In another scene, we find Tully feeding Marah pizza while watching movies.

Marah confesses that she wants Ashley to be more fascinating. Tully compliments Marah on her insight. Marah convinces Tully to go to the movies with Ashley and the group plans for 10 PM.

Johnny wants to date Kate now. After a terrible start, they try again. Kate replaced Johnny's hard mattress. Johnny wants honesty. Kate says she hates neck kisses. Johnny wants all her secrets.

Kate and Johnny exchange "hard truths" Kate worries Johnny will get lost at work, but she wants him to care. Johnny tells Kate he loves her when angry. Couple disputes "who failed more" This conversation calms and unites them.

Tully and Kate train in a 1970s burger shop. Lisa-Karen runs the store. The manager is upset they didn't notify her, but she works. Lisa-annoying. Karen's Pat, Tully's rapist, traumatizes her at the diner. Tully tells Kate she's mad she didn't do anything; she worries about her rapist's new girlfriend. And that is the end of episode 7 of Firefly Lane.
