First Look at the Spy Thriller “The Mark” Starring Tom Hopper and Jessica Alba

Highland Film Group has just unveiled the initial glimpse of the forthcoming spy thriller, “The Mark,” starring renowned actors Tom Hopper and Jessica Alba. Interstate sales and partial financing of the project are taken care of by Highland Film Group and Aperture Media Partners, and filming is ongoing in Queensland, Australia.

In "The Mark", Alba's character, Eden, is a spy executing a perilous secret mission. Eden involves single father, Ben Dawson, played by Tom Hopper, in her perilous world when he is misidentified as the deadliest hitman globally, making him Eden's ideal decoy. Eden uses this confusion to reveal a conglomerate of corrupt politicians, positioning Ben in conspicuous danger from criminal organizations and the CIA. Both Eden and Ben must face their enemies while staying alive; Eden to fulfil her mission and Ben to make it back to his daughter.

The action-packed film also stars Angus Sampson known for "Mad Max :Furiosa" and "The Lincoln Lawyer". Commending his performance, producer Kia Jam quoted - "I was aware of Angus's standout performances and big range, but seeing his talent directly here on set in his home country demonstrates exactly why he's so sought after; we are lucky to have him on board."

The film’s director is Justin Chadwick, noted for "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom" and "The Other Boleyn Girl," with Ronnie Christensen penning the script. The production team includes Alba, the co-producers from Highland Film Group, and others from K. Jam Media, Westbrook Studios, Hoodlum, and Falcon Films. Famous personalities like Will Smith are also serving as executive producers.

Supported by various Australian Government and local Gold Coast bodies, the film reflects a collaborative effort to deliver this high-octane spy thriller.
