The first teaser for "The Devil Wears Prada 2" is finally unveiled. This 52-second clip gives a tantalising glimpse of Meryl Streep’s character, Miranda Priestly, striding down Runway's corridors clad in red stilettos. She is later joined by her past assistant, Anne Hathaway's Andy Sachs, in an elevator scene dripping with their classic sass and tension.
The sequel to the globally acclaimed film from 2006, "The Devil Wears Prada 2", will follow Miranda Priestly, the indomitable editor-in-chief of Runway, as she grapples with the changing landscape of print journalism. The plot thickens as Priestly finds herself pitched against her former junior assistant, Emily Charlton portrayed by Emily Blunt. Charlton has now risen to a powerful executive position in a luxury group, commanding advertising funds that Priestly is keen on securing.
The original "Devil Wears Prada" showcases Andrea "Andy" Sachs, a young journalism graduate drawn to the glitz of Runway magazine. As Priestly's junior assistant, her professional aspirations challenge her personal relationships, leading to a tough choice. The first installment garnered both critical acclaim and commercial success, amassing a gross of $326 million globally.

The original ensemble, including Streep, Hathaway, Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Tracie Thoms, and Tibor Feldman, is set to return for the sequel. Notable additions to the cast include Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, Justin Theroux, Pauline Chalamet, Patrick Brammall, and Rachel Bloom. However, Adrian Grenier, known for his role as Nate in the original, will not be part of the sequel.
