In "The Rogue Prince," Viserys Targaryen must make some difficult choices.

The Crabfeeder issue is the first, as its ferocious acts in the Stepstones are directly harming Lord Corlys Velaryon and his fleet. The Sea Snake wants the Crabfeeder dealt with as soon as possible, but the King is unsure if it is best for the kingdom. A rise in tension can result in all-out war if it is confirmed that the Free Cities east of King's Landing are providing for the Crabfeeder operation.

The death of Queen Aemma was six months ago, and already there are rising hopes and hints for Viserys' upcoming monarch. Laena, Corlys' own daughter, is put forth as a contender.

The merging of the Targaryens and Velaryons would indicate that "the crown's strongest days are ahead" and that they had two of Westeros' most powerful forces (aerial firepower and a sizable navy, respectively).

Laena Velaryon is just twelve years old, after all. Nevertheless, he chooses to wed Lady Alicent Hightower, whom he has been meeting secretly.

The Rogue Prince has taken up residence at Dragonstone and is prowling around the Targaryen ancestral stronghold. His most recent daring deed involves sneaking into King's Landing to steal a dragon egg that is reserved for Rhaenyra's late brother Baelon and putting it in the crib of his unborn baby.

Viserys is furious and plans to confront Daemon directly. Otto calms him down by pointing out that the king would be in grave danger if he did that, especially because he only has one heir. As a result, the Hand confronts the prince on the castle's bridge in a gorgeously tense, cinematic meeting -Dragonstone himself.
