The three-part documentary series MH370: The Plane that Disappeared is available on Netflix. This documentary series falls under the True Crime subgenre, even though it is difficult to pinpoint the exact crime. However, the shocking absence of knowledge is unquestionably one crime.

This new Netflix documentary focuses on interacting with numerous people who lost family members on Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. All 239 persons aboard the Boeing 777 are believed to have perished. Family members of both crew members and passengers. On the ninth anniversary of Flight MH370 going missing, the Netflix docuseries debuts.

What Happened to MH370?

Many competing theories about what transpired on Kuala Lumpur to Beijing-bound Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. But as the Netflix documentary series' title indicates, MH370 vanished. Beginning with the flight's takeoff from Kuala Lumpur and ending with the Captain's final words, we follow this tragedy from beginning to end.

Nobody is certain of what transpired after that. We can see relatives of the passengers on the flight waiting at Beijing Capital International Airport from videos compiled from various news networks. MH370 is identified as "Delayed" in red on that page. Although no one wants to hear it, Malaysia Airlines is remarkably quick to say they don't know where Flight MH370 is. When this airplane disappeared in March 2014, I couldn't recall exactly what had happened. My spine tingled when they revealed that they had no idea what had happened to the flight and had not heard from them since they had last called.

MH370: The Plane That Disappeared frequently mentions that neither the body nor the plane has been located. Some Boeing 777-related debris has been discovered, but it's difficult to determine whether it came from Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. You may learn more about why it is the case in the series.

Malaysia Airlines Crash 4½ months after MH370

We also learn about the MH17 tragedy over Ukraine in episode 2 of MH370: The Aircraft That Disappeared. The plane being shot down by forces under Russian control was the actual cause of that "accident." Again, this is covered in the documentary series so I won't go into it here. Russian-controlled forces would shoot down anything over Ukrainian airspace.

Flight 17 of Malaysia Airlines, a passenger service between Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur, was a Boeing 777. On board MH17, all 298 occupants perished. When the aircraft was shot down, 283 passengers-mostly Dutch-and 15 crew members-all Malaysian-died. Malaysia Airlines itself thought they were being targeted because this was another significant accident involving a Malaysia Airlines airplane. Families of those on board MH370 were equally as startled. They initially believed that all the news channels were reporting on their family members, then realized it was a fresh tragedy!

In other words, this documentary series concentrates on the facts and speaks to the people most affected by the MH370 tragedy-the crew's friends, relatives, and passengers still in the dark about what happened to their loved ones. You can't help but feel sorry for them and comprehend why some feel compelled to struggle stronger for information. Possibly even adopt bizarre notions.
