Noah Centineo, known for his breakout role in Netflix's "To All the Boys I've Loved Before," is now set to play a young John Rambo in a new “Rambo” prequel under Millennium Media titled “John Rambo.” The character of John Rambo was popularized by Sylvester Stallone and first comes from David Morrell’s 1972 novel “First Blood,” centered around a distressed Vietnam War veteran and ex-Special Forces soldier proficient in weaponry, hand-to-hand combat, and guerrilla warfare. The franchise consists of five films, which have accumulated over $800 million globally.

Centineo's journey to fame began with “The Fosters,” after which he gained significant spotlight as Peter Kavinsky in “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” series. Later, Centineo executed starring and executive roles in the spy adventure show “The Recruit” on Netflix. In 2022, he was seen sharing screen space with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in “Black Adam” as Atom Smasher. His most recent portrayal was of Brian Zawi in Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland’s “Warfare” for A24. His portfolio also includes “Charlie’s Angels” and “Sierra Burgess Is a Loser.”
