After struggling with text-to-speech and learning that Brazzos has a new role for him to play, Charles returns to his apartment for a surprise: Lucy has returned! The moments between Lucy and Charles make him think that he missed out on being a father figure. Lucy was also inches away from witnessing Bunny Folger’s death, so Charles has reasons to be worried about her.

The feeling is somewhat mutual; Lucy skipped her mom’s wedding celebration so that she could come back to The Arconia (“the key still works”). Lucy also finds the murder weapon-a giant steak knife-right before chopping vegetables, which kicks the investigation into a higher gear. Fans were excited to see Lucy after hearing about her, and she proved worth the wait.

Meanwhile, Nina is still under suspicion of being the killer. In an attempt to get her to confess, the crew tries every trick in the book, but maybe advising a pregnant woman to “spill it” wasn’t the best choice of words. Instead of a confession, Nina gives birth and Charles has to use his experience from a show called The Deliverer to make sure everybody gets to the hospital safely.

Someone is messing with Oliver, Charles, and Mabel, but why? Who did the deed, and what does The Arconia’s architecture have to do with the murder? At the end of the episode, Charles heads back to prison to visit a certain somebody.
