"Paper Marriage" - A New Comedy from Giant Pictures and Duplass Brothers Productions

In a fruitful collaboration, Giant Pictures and Duplass Brothers Productions are set to digitally release a feature-length comedy "Paper Marriage". The movie, penned down, directed and led by Jeff Man, is currently available for pre-order on Apple TV and Amazon, with the official release scheduled on various streaming platforms for 16th September.

The film narrates the amusing saga of a modern marriage of convenience between n'er-do-well Chinese-American man, portrayed by Man, and Fanny - an immigrant from China on the brink of deportation. While Man and Fanny, played by Effy Han, grapple with the ups and downs of their unconventional alliance, they learn to work together, maintaining the facade of their marriage for the world.

Including a cast of Grace Song, Yosilu Chen, Rob Nagle, Michael Man, Ursula Man, and Will Dowsett, the film is an anticipative venture for its audiences. "Watching Jeff Man's ‘Paper Marriage’ charm audiences at festivals has been a mentor’s dream come true for me", stated Jay Duplass. The movie is produced by Angela Park and executive produced by Mark Duplass, Jay Duplass, and Mel Eslyn. The deal was materialized by Madeleine Schumacher and Shuli Harel, representing Giant Pictures and Duplass Brothers Productions respectively.
