Reflecting his admiration for Agatha Christie's work, Wilkinson aimed to merge intrigue with emotional nuance, suspense with dark humor, offering a satirical glimpse at the clash of image, ambition, and power in contemporary America.

The movie will make its New York debut on June 24 with a limited theatrical release, followed by a digital roll-out on Apple, Amazon, and Fandango. The agreement was negotiated by Elisabeth Costa de Beauregard Segel of Storyboard Media on behalf of the film's makers, with Mackenzie Maguire representing Persimmon.
