Snoop Dogg Biopic: Major Casting Revealed

The Universal biopic about rap legend Snoop Dogg is gaining momentum as key cast members are announced. It's confirmed that Camron Jones from "P-Valley" and "Panic" has been chosen to play Tupac Shakur, while actress Lauren London of "Without Remorse" and "ATL" will embody Snoop's late mother, Beverly Tate.

"Snoop," a movie directed by Craig Brewer, will portray the life of Snoop Dogg and already features Jonathan Daviss as the lead character. Additional notable cast members include Myles Bullock entrusted with the role of Dr. Dre, who was instrumental in Snoop Dogg's career development.

The movie is primed for release on August 6, 2027, promising a deep look into the life of the entertainment giant. Snoop Dogg will serve as one of the producers of the movie, which will feature music from his extensive music collection. The other producers include Brian Grazer of "8 Mile" fame, Allan Mandelbaum, Sara Ramaker, the president of Death Row Pictures.

Camron Jones, who will star as Tupac Shakur, is widely recognized for his role in "Panic." Jones, who started acting as a child, has made considerable strides in his career. Lauren London, hailing from Los Angeles, has showcased her talent in a variety of projects, most notably "You People," and "ATL." Apart from her acting career, London is also a mental health activist and entrepreneur. She and Jones will bring their vast experiences and talents to bring their roles in "Snoop" to life.
