The episode starts with a flashback as Belly reminisces on memories when Conrad was teaching her how to dance. 

Now, Belly has a new dance instructor as she practices for the Debutante Ball, Ms. Cubbington who is teaching the debs how to waltz. The only problem? Belly doesn’t have a dance partner. Her conflicted emotions towards Conrad have prevented her from asking Cam.  

In the meantime, Nicole takes the place of a dance partner. The pair stumbles a bit and Belly accidentally steps on her two. So, Jeremiah who was watching the practice, steps in to save the day. All is going well until Jeremiah brings some fun to the practice and changes the music to something more… upbeat. Ms. Cubbington asks her to leave. 

Conrad stands back observing. He waves at Belly, Belly waves back and so does Nicole, who thinks the wave is for her… Awkward. 

Belly’s love square gets more confusing when Cam shows up to the house inviting her on a bike ride. Belly agrees but as she sits with Cam overlooking the water she realizes that she wishes it were Conrad instead. She then ends things with Cam. 

Belly heads back to the house looking for Conrad who has been texting her all day. Instead she finds Jeremiah. 

Eventually, Laurel and Susannah make up. They have fun together with a bit of cannabis until they make the decision to go out to a pub.  

At the pub, Susannah locks lips with a random male bar attendee and Laurel works up the courage to text Cleveland Castillo for another night together. 

Meanwhile, Belly waits at the house for Conrad who becomes upset towards his mothers illness (he is the only one, besides Laurel who knows). When Belly approaches him about the night before, he brushes her off again to which Belly responds “I’m not waiting for you anymore”, then stomps back inside. 

Sub-plot! Steven is promoted to the poker room at the club. The rich men praise him for his good poker instincts while also spewing some microaggressions towards him.

Belly ends the night in a late night swim to which by her surprise, Jeremiah shows up at. Jeremiah admits his feelings towards Belly and the two share a kiss. 

The plot thickens!
