Following the frantic discovery from the previous episode, episode 6 of The Watcher continues with Dean and Nora pursuing the black shadow that is fleeing from them. Nora continues pushing Dean away out of fear. Dean now senses that the solutions are getting closer as the tunnel keeps growing deeper.

A little while later, the tunnel emerges into a cramped space where they discover a bed, a lamp, and even some food. After his nocturnal excursions into the house, "the watcher" has been sleeping in this location. The shadow eventually manages to lose them, and the Brannocks come to a halt. We are in for a surprise beyond the fake wall. I'm John Graff.

The Brannocks are greeted by Chamberland with irony tinged with venomous rage. He is angry with the couple for their altercation at the club and for casting doubt on her and Karen's relationship. He promises that he won't assist them and will make sure that no police officer enters the home ever again. He also threatens Dean with personal retaliation, claiming to be aware that Dean is the author of one of the letters.

They are horrified, the Brannocks. Who might that be? Is it Theodora, given that nobody else is aware? Theodora speculates that the handwriting expert may be to blame.

The PI restores the Brannocks' faith in her fixation on the case and their son's innocence. She now has fresh knowledge. Roger Kaplan's direction has been successful. Trish, the ex-wife, has provided her with a ton of details. When Roger married Miko, one of his students, they split up about 25 years ago. Trish is certain that Roger is the person keeping watch.
