Sweets are tempting and sometimes too tempting because of how delicious yet unhealthy they can be. With the recent surge in cooking shows on television, viewers can sit back and relax as they watch their favorite foods being made on TV without worrying about calories.

Sugar Rush

The procedures and ingredients used in this show are outlandishly sized. The competitors start by baking cupcakes. Second-round treats are sweets. The third round features a full-sized, thematic cake. Eight episodes may seem like a lot for a binge, but Sugar Rush more than makes up for its shortness with its thrills.

Cake Wars

Cake Wars is a tense two-round competition between four talented bakers from all around the nation. The bakers create theme cakes on popular culture icons. Some theme examples include Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Nintendo, and Alice in Wonderland. In each episode, there are two judges and a celebrity guest. Jonathan Bennett hosts the show.

Crime Scene Kitchen

In the 2021 Fox reality series Crime Scene Kitchen, host Joel McHale and contestants attempt to determine the identity of a baked dessert based on a list of ingredients. The judges, Yolanda Gampp and Curtis Stone, then have the bakers make what they believe the treat to be from scratch.

Cupcake Wars

Cupcake Wars, a reality competition on the Food Network, showcases the talents of competing chefs. The chefts have to create original and delicious cupcakes out of unusual ingredients. The first round judges the cupcakes on their flavor, the second on their look and taste, and the third on the contestants' ability to produce 1,000 cupcakes in two hours.
