The movie "We Are All Strangers" by Anthony Chen has garnered a surging interest in the global film distribution scene, with Paris' Paradise City Sales securing distribution partnerships worldwide. It has distinguished itself as the first film from Singapore to contend in Berlin's primary competition section.

Several deals have been struck with ARP Selection of France, Curezon from the UK and Ireland, Elastica Films from Spain, Trigon Film from Switzerland, A-One Films from Baltics, Ama Films from Greece, Golden Scene from Hong Kong, Movicloud from Taiwan, Challan from South Korea, PT Falcon from Indonesia, and Moving Turtle covering the Middle East and North Africa. Several other negotiations are still in progress.

The movie concludes Chen's "Growing Up" trilogy, which includes "Ilo Ilo," the winner of the Caméra d'Or at Cannes, and "Wet Season." As with the preceding films, "We Are All Strangers" is set in modern-day Singapore and features Yeo Yann Yann and Koh Jia Ler, who have been prominent throughout the trilogy. Paradise City Sales represents Chen's work internationally across all three films and has traveled to Cannes, Toronto, Sundance, and Berlin with the movies.

"Not only does 'We Are All Strangers' have the remarkable ability to forge a profound intimacy with its characters but it also provides a glimpse into the soul of a nation," said Louisa Dent, Managing Director of Curzon. Enrique Costa, Elastica's director, praised the film as a "powerful and emotionally resonant portrait of the family we are born into and the family we choose."

Paradise City Sales continues to represent promising titles such as Moshe Rosenthal's "Tell Me Everything," Warwick Thornton's "Wolfram," and Mees Peijnenburg's "A Family."
