A platinum wig and a fuzzy pink mini: supermodel's birthday transformation

Kendall Jenner turned 31 on Tuesday, and she saw in her new year as a platinum blonde, with Jacob Elordi playing her husband.

The supermodel dressed as Jane Henderson, Nastassja Kinski's character in Wim Wenders' 1984 cult classic Paris, Texas, for her Halloween-slash-birthday party at Bar Marmont in Los Angeles on Friday, Oct. 30.

The look was a fuzzy pink sweater dress, sheer black tights and a champagne-blonde wig with flipped-out ends, according to The Zoe Report.

Elordi, 29, came as Travis Henderson, Jane's husband in the film, played by Harry Dean Stanton. He wore a red cap with a black suit and white shirt, Entertainment Now reported.

Two words were enough

Jenner shared the transformation in an Instagram photo dump on Oct. 31. The caption was just two words: "Paris, Texas."

Fans clearly approved: the post has more than 2 million likes.

Her team sweated the details. Irinel de León styled the wig and Iggy Rosales-Jackson installed it, while makeup artist Mary Phillips gave her a softer take on Jane's pink lipstick, with pink blush and plenty of lashes, The Zoe Report said.

She even posed at the bar the way the character does in one of the film's most memorable scenes, according to Entertainment Now.

The guest list was as starry as the costumes. Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, model Vittoria Ceretti, arrived as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, and Charli XCX, Tate McRae and Cara Delevingne were there too, Just Jared reported. Alabama Barker wore a Santa outfit inspired by Mean Girls, and Laura Harrier came as a devil.

Marriage material?

Jenner and Elordi were photographed leaving the party together, in shots posted by Deux Moi.

Two weeks earlier, they sat side by side at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.

The pair have known each other since at least 2022, when Elordi went to Jenner's birthday party, and the dating rumours took off at this year's Vanity Fair Oscar party, according to Entertainment Now.

Now a source has told In Touch that Jenner "has identified boyfriend Jacob Elordi as marriage material". The same source said the Euphoria star "falls hard" and is "ready to settle down".

But neither has made a public announcement. When a report claimed in August that Jenner was "footing the bill" for the romance, her brother Brody Jenner shut it down on Instagram: "I can confirm that this is clickbait."

Another year hotter

The birthday itself was a quieter affair. Jenner was photographed heading out in the Los Angeles rain on Nov. 3 in a long-sleeved, body-hugging maxi dress, strappy heels, sunglasses and a silver purse, The Blast reported.

An assistant carried her umbrella, which fans found hilarious. "Too rich to hold your own umbrella," one wrote.

TMZ marked the day with a gallery of her hottest bikini shots. "Another year older, another year hotter!" the site wrote.

And sister Kylie Jenner posted a birthday tribute calling her "forever sister".
