- Mar 3, 2026
Briana Middleton and Kyle Allen, in-demand actors in the film industry, have been announced as principal leads for Getaway Entertainment’s forthcoming conspiracy thriller, "Tilt". The movie is set to commence filming in the diverse locales of Los Angeles starting early April.
The story of "Tilt" revolves around a freelance journalist grappling with life, played by Middleton, and her movie enthusiast camera operator, Jake, portrayed by Allen. The duo delve into a citywide conspiracy against the scorching backdrop of an untamed L.A. wildfire. The movie will be directed by Sophia Banks, working off a script penned by Arwen Elys Dayton. Also involved in the project is producer Damiano Tucci. Banks, Dayton, and Tucci serve as the co-founders of the production company, Getaway Entertainment.
Middleton has recently finished working on Apple TV’s sci-fi series “Neuromancer,” where she shared the screen with Callum Turner. Her previous works include the 2023 thriller “Sharper” and the indie romance film “Ride or Die." She was the lead in the latter, which premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival.

Allen, on the other hand, will be seen on the silver screen in an Amazon MGM war epic with Alan Ritchson. His acting resume includes stellar performances in Kathryn Bigelow’s “A House of Dynamite,” Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story,” and Kenneth Branagh’s “A Haunting in Venice.”
The director of the movie, Banks, expressed her excitement and personal connection to the project, particularly featuring an unhinged female lead character, and the dream casting of Middleton and Allen. "Tilt," she revealed, is also an ode to the world of cinema- her domain of passion.
Actors Middleton and Allen have been associated with reputed agencies for their representation. Middleton is represented by Rhonda Price at Gersh and Ken Lee at Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and Allen is represented by Brian Nossokoff at UTA and Beau Swayze at Entertainment 360.
