BTS Set to Make Grand Comeback in March 2026
- Jun 23, 2025
After a hiatus of nearly two years, the famed K-pop group BTS is preparing for its much-anticipated full-group reunion, scheduled to take place in March 2026, reports The Korea Herald. The reformation is timed strategically following the conclusion of the seven band members' compulsory military service period. The last member, Suga, will fulfill his military commitment this forthcoming Saturday.
HYBE, the entertainment conglomerate that represents BTS through its Big Hit Music division, has gained significant reputation and financial success due to its roster of artists. With a current market capitalization of around $9.4 billion, HYBE ranks among the world’s most lucrative music companies since going public in 2020.
“BTS’ return has been confirmed for March next year,” an official from HYBE confirmed, as mentioned by The Korea Herald’s report. This coincides with the narrative established by HYBE CEO, Lee Jae-sang, who in earlier statements referenced the need for “time for preparation and creative work” following the group’s discharge from military service.
Their comeback in March is poised to inject a dynamic synergy into the label with rumors of overlapping comebacks from label-mate Tomorrow X Together. While the exact dates aren't confirmed, the comebacks are alleged to occur in mid-March according to foreign sources.

Already, the upcoming return of BTS appears to be influencing HYBE’s release schedule. Insider sources reveal that Enhypen, the boy band under HYBE's subsidiary Belift Lab, decided to move their new release to January, obviously keen to sidestep competition with BTS’ global impact.
This planned timetable offers the creative flexibility that was highlighted as a necessity by the HYBE management. As Lee stated during a March shareholder meeting, “We’re preparing alongside top-tier producers, but the artists also need time to reflect and prepare.”
Incorporating the various solo commitments of the members, like Jin's extensive solo concert series, the comeback schedule seems comprehensive and detailed. This return will signify BTS' first full-group release after their 2022 anthology album “Proof,” which was released before their military service hiatus commenced.
