Exploring Volatile Friendships and Relationships in "Erupcja"

In "Erupcja", Charli XCX and Will Madden embody Bethany and Rob, a British couple visiting Warsaw. The pair are on what should have been a romantic vacation, with Rob, ready to advance their relationship, planning a surprise proposal. However, Bethany's attention is consumed by her need to reconcile with her old friend, Nel, portrayed by Lena Góra.

The story of Bethany and Nel dates back to their teenage years when their initial meeting coincided with a volcanic eruption that they playfully credit as the manifestation of their bond's potency.
