Fantasia International Film Festival Reveals Exciting 2025 Line-Up

The 2025 Fantasia International Film Festival recently unveiled its initial selection of films which included noteworthy productions such as “Terrestrial” by Steve Pink and “I Live Here Now” directed by Julie Pacino. Spanning from July 17 to August 3, the festival will be an exciting mix of movie screenings, workshops and launch events held in Montreal.

Renowned for his work on “Hot Tub Time Machine,” "Terrestrial" represents Pink's thrilling directorial venture. Meanwhile, Julie Pacino, Al Pacino's daughter, is stepping into the world of direction with “I Live Here Now,” featuring “Twin Peaks” star Sheryl Lee, and actors Lucy Fry and Madeline Brewer.

Other selections include Mexico’s first stop-motion feature “I Am Frankleda” and the newest piece from the Adams Family, “Mother of Flies.”

Fantasia International Film Festival Reveals Exciting 2025 Line-Up

The previous year's festival had world premieres such as Chris Stuckmann’s “Shelby Oaks,” “The Beast Within” starring Kit Harington, and “Bookworm” featuring Elijah Wood and Nell Fisher.

The comprehensive line-up of this year’s festival will be announced in early July. The first wave of announcements also includes film such as “The Bearded Girl” by Jody Wilson, and “The Well” by Hubert Davis, among others.
