- May 6, 2025
HBO has announced the premiere date of "The Gilded Age" Season 3, with the first teaser revealing an interesting development in the storyline. The new season is set to premiere on June 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available for streaming on HBO Max. The teaser provided a glimpse into the tensions rising in the show, ending on a high note with Mrs. Russell (Carrie Coon) advising her daughter, Gladys (Taissa Farmiga), on the virtues of marriage.
Further fueling the curiosity of fans, Season 2's conclusion featured Mrs. Russell promising her daughter's hand in marriage to the Duke of Buckingham (Ben Lamb), a turn of events that didn't sit very well with Gladys. Season 3 follows the weakening of the old guard after the Opera War, enabling the Russells to rise to the forefront of society.

In the newly released season description, George (Morgan Spector) is seen risking everything for a potentially transformative venture in the railroad industry while the Brook household's hierarchy is unsettled by Ada's (Cynthia Nixon) fresh role as lady of the house. The round of events culminates with Bertha eyeing a prize that could potentially take the family to unprecedented heights.
Season 3 of "The Gilded Age" also enlists a star-studded cast including Louisa Jacobson, Harry Richardson, Ben Ahlers, among many others. Julian Fellowes, the creator of the series, returns as a writer and executive producer alongside Sonja Warfield. The show is co-produced by HBO and Universal Television.
