Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, stars of the TV Series "Heated Rivalry," had their first awards show presenting experience at the Golden Globes. They took the stage while Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” played, announcing the Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series.

Experiencing some jitters, they shared humorous banter on stage, discussing the intimate scenes they have shared on the show to the amusement of the audience. They then announced Erin Doherty as the winner for her supporting role in "Adolescence,” following her co-stars' victories.

Heated Rivalry's Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams Make Golden Globe Debut

In "Heated Rivalry," Storrie and Williams portray Ilya Rozanov and Shane Williams, professional hockey players who fall in love during a clandestine affair spanning a decade. The show, developed by Jacob Tierney and broadcasted by Crave in Canada and HBO Max in the U.S., is adapted from Rachel Reid’s queer hockey romance novels titled "Game Changer."

In a span of six weeks since its premiere, Storrie and Williams have catapulted to global fame, and a second season is already in the works. Both actors have made appearances on notable late-night shows, and "Heated Rivalry" has gained popularity and critical acclaim. However, it's ineligible for the Emmys as it's entirely funded outside the U.S, and HBO Max simply acts as a broadcaster, without financing or producing the show itself. Regardless, HBO Max remains eager to highlight the series on its platform.
