Intense Plot Twists: Unwrapping Euphoria's Season 3, Episode 7
- May 27, 2026
Last night's "Euphoria" episode left viewers in shock as Rue Bennett once again found herself in deep trouble, and another high school classmate met a grim end.
Zendaya's character Rue has had a troublesome season, narrowly avoiding death. Currently, she's in danger of being caught trying to rob a drug cartel. Faye, who was previously trying to help Rue, screams at a critical moment, alerting everyone to Rue's desperate act.
However, Nate Jacobs (played by Jacob Elordi) outdoes Rue. In a shocking turn of events, by the end of the episode, he ends up dead. His wife, Cassie, is seen sobbing over his lifeless body. Nate’s struggles with failures and debts to dangerous individuals had brought him to a tragic end. In a desperate bid to save him, Cassie tries to wrangle the money needed for Nate's freedom, only for a deadly snakebite to render her efforts futile.
This gruesome departure for Nate opens up an entirely new emotional arc for Cassie, who's gone from a dissatisfied wife to fearful widow within the early months of her marriage.

Meanwhile, Cassie, after losing her source of income when she decided to quit "OnlyFans" to pursue an acting career, embarks on a risky scheme. However, Cassie’s plan does not end well as she becomes a kidnap victim.
In a past scene narrated by Rue, we see Ali on his journey to sobriety and how he's trying, once again, to aid Rue in finding the same. Remaining episodes of the season anticipate heightened struggles for Ali with Rue claiming to have heard the voice of God.
In what seems to be an increasingly complicated life, Rue finds herself stuck between two rival cartels. As the season nears its finale, Rue's dangerous game leaves her in probable danger following an unsuccessful attempt at robbery.
This latest episode of “Euphoria” presents high drama and anticipation for the season finale with its intricate plot twists and deeply emotional revelations.
