Netflix Debuts Trailer for Bestseller 'People We Meet on Vacation' Adaptation

The film adaptation of Emily Henry's bestseller "People We Meet on Vacation" is set to debut on Netflix on January 9. The tale captivates with the story of best friends Poppy, played by Emily Bader, and Alex, portrayed by Tom Blyth, as they trot the globe. Henry's book of the same name has sold over 2 million copies and was featured on the New York Times Best Sellers list for 69 weeks.

The film captures the decade-long friendship between the vivacious Poppy and Alex, who prefers a more settled lifestyle. They live in separate cities yet they spend every summer vacation together. The duo's commitment to their friendship is tested as they wonder what everyone else is suspecting-could they be the perfect couple?

The trailer reveals snippets of Poppy and Alex's unforgettable journeys, including their adventurous nights in New Orleans, a camping misadventure, and the trip to Norway that was canceled because Poppy fell ill and Alex stepped in to look after her.
