This high viewership propelled the movie to the peak of Netflix's viewership rankings for the first week of August, claiming the number one spot for English-language films and as the most watched title overall. The film that followed closely was Kevin Hart's comedy, "72 Hours," achieving 11.1 million views in its third week. Other English-language films making the charts included "Spider-Man: Far from Home" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming," which likely benefited from the recent theatrical release of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

On the television front, “The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare” remained the number one title for the second consecutive week, accumulating 10.6 million views after an initial week viewing of 18.2 million. Ranked closely behind was the Season 3 debut of “My Life With the Walter Boys,” which attained 9 million views within the first four days. Holding its third place for another week was “The Bombing of Pan Am 103.”
