Neon has unveiled the trailer for Joachim Trier's newest film, "Sentimental Value". This film marks a reunion with Renate Reinsve, the leading lady from Trier's "The Worst Person in the World". In the film, Reinsve portrays Nora, an estranged daughter of movie director Gustav Borg, a character played by Stellan Skarsgård. Gustav proposes a film project in their family home, wishing Nora to play the principal part, which she turns down. The part is eventually assumed by Rachel Kemp, an American actress played by Elle Fanning. The movie trailer showcases an intriguing discussion between Fanning and Reinsve, where Reinsve discloses the complexity of her relationship with her father.

"Sentimental Value" was an acclaimed success at the Cannes Film Festival, walking away with a Grand Prix and a positive critique from notable reviewers, including Variety's Peter Debruge. Debruge praised the film as a family drama that managed to uncover new perspectives on commonly portrayed sentiments in cinema. The film also stars Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, Cory Michael Smith, and Anders Danielsen Lie.
