Housewives star, 63, nails beauty mogul's daring gown: 'Thought this was me'
- Nov 1, 2026
Lisa Rinna, 63, didn't go scary this Halloween. She went as Kylie Jenner.
The former Real Housewife wore a backless orange gown with cutouts, a cross-shaped jewel on the front, a chunky cross necklace and a long, straight brunette wig, E! News reported.
It was so close that Jenner, 29, jumped into the comments herself.
The gown everyone remembers
Rinna recreated the orange Chrome Hearts look Jenner wore to the Los Angeles premiere of Marty Supreme in December 2025, when she and Timothée Chalamet arrived in matching orange.
Jenner was at Chalamet's side through his promotional tour for the film, Entertainment Now reported, and the couple's matching orange was the look everyone talked about.
Rinna debuted her version on Live with Kelly and Mark's Halloween episode, and she brought her own Timothée. The show's executive producer, Michael Gelman, wore a matching orange suit, NewBeauty reported.
Rinna kept her caption short: "King Lisa."
Then the top comment arrived, from Jenner's own account.
Thought this was me.
Kylie Jenner
Fans were just as confused. "I couldn't tell if that was Kylie Jenner dressing up as Lisa Rinna or Lisa Rinna dressing up as Kylie Jenner," one wrote, The Hollywood Gossip reported. Another called her "a shape shifter." A third simply wrote: "This hurts my brain it's so good."
It isn't the first time Rinna has borrowed from Jenner. Earlier this year, she and husband Harry Hamlin recreated Jenner and Chalamet's beach photos for her Instagram, Entertainment Now reported.
And she has form with Halloween. In 2019 she copied Jennifer Lopez's famous green Versace dress, and Lopez gave that one her approval too, Bravo reported.
Rinna has never been shy on a red carpet. Two weeks ago she turned up to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in a fur-collared jacket, a full tulle skirt and a feathered headpiece.
Halloween night is still to come.
But when the woman you're dressed as can't tell the difference, the rest of Hollywood is playing for second place.
