After Obie leaves everyone’s life, Zoya concentrates on developing her own personality. As their love develops, Aki, Max, and Audrey decide to start a family.

In the meantime, Julien quits being famous on Instagram and teams up with Gossip Girl, giving her recommendations that combine fact and fiction. The group reunites as soon as the second semester of school begins, except for Obie.

As they adjust to their new living situation, Julien and Zoya find it difficult to bond as sisters. However, as Nick demonstrates his ability to be a capable caregiver for Julien, their connection improves.

Zoya, meanwhile, feels left out and doesn’t like how close Julien and Nick are becoming. In addition, Julien makes the decision to concentrate on her academic goals and career goals.

However, she must improve her academic performance and communicate with Miss Kate Keller, the creator of Gossip Girl, about who Julien needs to be made aware. Mike, the school’s absent Russian classics teacher, introduces himself to Kate. But after Mike claims Kate’s workplace, things go off to the wrong start.

Meanwhile, Audrey is happy about her new connections with Aki and Max. Even while everything is going well, Max worries that Aki and Audrey don’t honestly care about him. So, he requests that they declare their relationship to the public. But Aki and Audrey come up with justifications to put off the discovery. Max concludes that Audrey and Aki do not desire him in the union as a result. He issues them an ultimatum as a result.

During this time, Luna and Monet converse about Julien’s downfall as the “Queen Bee”, and Monet decides she no longer wants to aid in boosting Julien’s public image. She intends to go to the debutante ball that her relatives, the de Haans, are hosting. As it would offer her fans something to chat about when Julien vanishes from social media, Luna recommends that Julien should also attend the ball. Although Monet decides to invite Julien, it appears that she has other plans.

Kate advises Julien to concentrate on her extracurricular activities if she wants to stand a chance of getting into a reputable university. As an outcome, Julien makes the decision to go to the ball. She persuades Zoya to assist her with the exercise. Zoya reluctantly accepts but invites Shan, a new friend, to the session. Since all females are required to be escorted by their dads to the ball, Nick chooses to chaperone Julien.

At the ball, Max coerces Audrey and Aki into admitting their love, but they resist because of the strain. Max acknowledges his error, though, and chooses to wait until Audrey and Aki are ready to notify the public before allowing them time to adjust to their unconventional relationship. Monet executes her strategy at the ball.

The de Haan clan has changed the debutant ball into a more open and progressive occasion, despite criticism for its retrograde views. However, other concepts still have retrograde undertones, such as the women needing men to accompany them to the event. The same point is made when a participant asks to bring her girlfriend along but is told “no”.

The contestant’s girlfriend, however, will attend the celebration thanks to Zoya and Shan’s arrangements. To her surprise, her father unexpectedly turns up at the occasion during Julien’s introduction. Instead of her father, Monet announces herself being queer and is with her partner. Zoya and Shan’s actions, however, prevent her from getting the anticipated reaction.
