The episode starts with Mick asking Cisco to investigate Juror seven, the juror who was allegedly bribed to be on the jury. Mick also wants Cisco to dig up information about Kosevich, the alleged Russian tycoon who murdered Jerry and Trevor’s family. Cisco agrees to these tasks humorously by first asking Mickey who he wants to be killed. Cisco discovers that juror seven is not the engineer who is supposed to sit on the jury. The actual juror who should be on the jury will not receive a jury summons, as later discovered in the episode. On Kosevich, Cisco discovers that he started in banking but is now controlling the Russian administration.
Mick has to compromise his ethical obligation and report the jury tampering since by not doing so, he would endanger himself and those close to him. Back at the court, the lawyers were summoned to Judge Stanton’s chambers to discuss juror seven, who the Judge had already established to be an imposter according to an anonymous tip.
As Mick’s talking to Maggie on the phone while driving, he stops by his house and looks at his ex-wife and their daughter, Hayley, whose safety he worries about due to recent developments in the case. The viewer is drawn to two men with tattoos on most parts of their bodies and leather jackets to finalize the touch. As the episode ends, Mick pulls off next to the truck on which these men are sitting.
