The Terminal List

In this second episode, Reece buries his wife and daughter after being interrogated by the police about their death. He misses his family, as implied by his memories of them. NCIS is handling the murder case, but Reece tells Admiral Pillar that the case should be handled by counterintelligence. The admiral is unwilling to heed Reece’s pleas and even blames him for his woes. To these verbal attacks, Reece retaliates by pinning the admiral to the wall but lets him go and walks away.

Katie, the reporter, gets access to the police report about the murder case and trades it with Reece for his signature, allowing her to look at his CT scan information. From the description, Reece establishes that Holder was the first NCIS detective to arrive at the scene at the clinic. He finds his picture on social media, and after comparing his eyes with the eyes he saw while his wannabe killers tried to kill him, he asserts that Holder was the one who escaped. Later, Reece learns that Kahani had been killed, so he was no longer a threat to the country.

Reece sneaks into Holder’s house at night and wakes him up with a gun to his mouth. Even though Reece does not find knife wounds on Holder, he confesses that Saul Agnon was his financier. He does this before trying to attack Reece, who is underneath the chin. The episode ends with Reece cleaning up the scene to make it look like Holder committed suicide. He cuts off the plastic cuffs and wipes clean the murder weapon.
