While Mavi guides us, we meet several families in the enclave. Tano Scaglia, a corporate bigwig married to Teresa, and their children Matías and Sofí. Then we have the Andrades, led by plastic surgeon Ernesto, his wife Mariana, and their adopted children, Ramona and Pedro. Lastly, there’s Martín de la Luna III, an aspiring politician, and his expectant wife, Lala, along with their existing brood.

Rewind to a few months earlier. Mavi is in her element, showing a potential home to Gustavo Maldonado. She makes it clear that approval from the community’s gatekeepers is essential for peaceful coexistence. Later, at a meeting of the society’s women, Mariana takes charge, and Mavi persuades them to accept the Maldonados as neighbors, overriding some initial hesitation due to Gustavo’s Spanish roots.

The tale takes several fascinating turns. Martín contemplates running for Governor as an independent, breaking away from his family’s political lineage. Mavi struggles with Ronnie, who’s been unemployed and perpetually high for years, due to a failed venture. Meanwhile, the women gather for “Thursday’s Widows,” their weekly ritual of drinks and chatter, welcoming newcomer Carla.

Fast forward to the tragic events of December 26th. Tensions are high; Tano is in crisis, Martín faces setbacks, and Mavi’s crumbling marriage pushes her into another man’s arms.
