After a lengthy wait, episode 5 of Tokyo Vice begins right on time. Samantha arrived in Kitakyushu in 1994 as a missionary.

According to Polina, Matsu and his compatriots are after Polina as she stole nearly forty million yen from the mission fund. She also worries about extradition and wants to put this whole dilemma behind her.

Highlights of Episode 5

Jake has a very passionate discussion with his mother. Jake’s mother bids for him to come home and try and patch things up with his father along with taking care of his sister. Jake doesn’t want to.

Miyamoto and Hiroto have an intellectually compelling argument during a friendly match. Jake is unconvinced by Hiroto’s credibility.

Jake gets the information about the intruder from Hiroto as promised.

Samantha is visiting Matsu ‘s house. She gave them money and asked Matsu what he wouldn’t sell. Matsu instead declined the request and asked what she would not sell.

Ishida was fighting Tozawa’s men alone, and Sato helped him. Together, the two battered the remaining men in anticipation of what might come next.

The Episode Review

This episode can be summed up as…ACTION-PACKED!

The most extended episode in the season lives up to its billing. It is the ideal setting for the season’s follow-up show, Tokyo Vice, to thrill its audiences with a taut storyline containing numerous episodes.

From action sequences to Japanese altruism and significant plot reveals, the show bid farewell to Kume, a character reluctantly identified as the traitor. Loan shark company Jinpei turned out to be a Yakuza-sponsored operation.

Watch Or Not

This is a watch and a HUGE step up from the last two episodes.
