If you’re still using regular plastic water bottles on a daily basis, you might be a little behind the times. These days, everyone lugs an insulated thermos around with them, whether it’s mug-sized, water-bottled sized, or gallon-sized.

Why are insulated water bottles so popular? They are made using stainless steel with a vacuum sealed outer layer, meaning your beverage stays whatever temperature you want for as long as possible, hot or cold.

There’s a variety of options you can buy. Here is a list of the best ones you can find, at the best prices.

Summit Water Bottle by Simple Modern

First up is a little bit of a lesser known brand compared to something like YETI, but they offer 11 different sizes and 39 different colors and patterns. Also, each water bottle already comes with a leak-proof foldable straw lid, versus having to buy that piece separately.

Personally, I much prefer these types of lids than just a standard full-mouth because I’m prone to spilling water all over myself. Or, it makes it super easy to drink out of when you only have one hand free, like in the car.

With over 36,000 reviews, this water bottle is a pretty popular choice on Amazon. You can buy a standard 22-oz bottle for less than $20.

Double Insulated Water Bottle by Thermoflask

Pretty similar to the Summit Water bottle above, this one by Thermoflask also has the double-wall vacuum-sealed container, and foldable straw lid.

However, there are only 5 color options and 5 sizes. So if you’re not into fancy different colors, this might be a better option because of it being a slightly better known brand.

The 24-oz option is also only $19.99.

Insulated Bottle from Hydroflask

Hydroflask is another popular brand you might see in your outdoor store. This one is slightly more expensive than the last two options, but not by much.

You can buy it in three different sizes, but there are a few color options at 13. Unfortunately, the Hydroflask doesn’t include a special cap for drinking spout options. It only has the standard cap for the full-mouth option. But you can buy different caps separately.

30-oz Tumbler from RTIC

RTIC is a really popular brand alternative to YETI that you can find at a MUCH more affordable price. Speaking from experience, I’ve owned two of the RTIC ramblers as well.

Keep in mind that these are ramblers and not bottles, but they work really well as keeping your drinks hot or cold. I know I’ve left ice in my drink overnight on the kitchen counter, and the ice was still in there the next morning.

You have a few color varieties but the rambler only comes in one size. The good news is that it’s only $18.99, which is about $15 less than the YETI of the same size.

20-oz Tumbler from YETI

Finally, we have probably the most well-known insulated drinkware company that also happens to make great day and camping coolers of the same nature. YETI definitely has a lot of variety when it comes to their drinkware products.

If we’re looking along the same lines of a 20-something-ounce tumbler, their option is slightly more expensive than the other products on this list at just under $30. There are quite a few color options (31) in the 20-oz.

The tumbler also comes with the mag-slide lid which makes sipping and sealing pretty easy. What makes YETI a little bit better than the rest is they use a higher quality, kitchen-grade steel to insulate their products. So it’s a little stronger and a little more durable.
