What is Amazon Prime Day?
Prime Day is Amazon’s annual mega-sale, offering deals on thousands of products across the site. The sale dates back to 2015 when the first Prime Day celebrated the company’s 20th anniversary since going live. The first event lasted 24 hours, but it now lasts longer, giving customers more time to shop the deals. You will see a variety of Lightning Deals appear on the Amazon homepage throughout the sale, with short-term offers and specials.
When is it?
Prime Day 2021 takes place on June 21-22. The sale officially kicks off at 12:01 am PT on Monday, June 21, and ends on Tuesday, June 22 at 11:59 pm PT.
What will be on Sale?
A lot. A whole lot. The site plans for 10s or thousands of products to go on sale over the two-day period. Many of the sales are not announced in advance, so you need to visit Amazon during Prime Day to find out about the special offers and discounts. However, there is some information that has come out about early deals.
